>Nomadic working. As Automattic is a fully distributed company our family has taken the opportunity to live for extensive periods outside our home base in California. We started in Hawaii. In 2022, we bought an apartment in Antibes, France, which make our base in the EU and Airbnb it and our California home. When possible, I like to work from co-working spaces. The closest space to my home is a gym that has an am amazing co-working space.

>Reading. I like to combine reading with where I am traveling to. With my second home in France, I read the local newspaper Nice Matin daily and enjoyed the Inspector Bruno series by Martin Walker as I worked in the Perigord Noir region of France as an archeologist for an uncle who studied Neanderthals. For a trip to Spain I am reading Tales of the Alhambra by Washington Irving and Ghosts of Spain by Giles Tremlett.

>Soccer, Dance and Cooking. My daughter is a dancer, my son plays soccer, and my wife is an amazing cook.
